Shannon Davis, a graduate student at NCSU, received the Himes
Graduate Award for her paper on "Doing Economy or Doing Family: An Exploration of the
Process through which Married Couples Decide to Become Parents."
Christine Dave, an undergraduate at ASU, received the Himes
Award for her paper on "Gender Stereotypical Descriptions in Children's Books."
